"Mrs. Anna Maria Rensing, 68, of Damiansville, died at St. Joseph's hospital at Breese, at 8:40 Saturday night of complications following a major operation. She had been in failing health for years, and was at the hospital a week.
"She was born at St. Libory, September 30, 1863, a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Korte, who came from Germany. She married John William Rensing at Damiansville, January 30, 1883. He preceded her in death June 21, 1917.
"She was a member of the Christian Mothers' Sodality of St. Damian's Catholic church.
"Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning from the home of her son, August Rensing, a mile east of Damiansville, to St. Damian's Catholic church. Rev. Fr. William Kiefer, officiating. Burial will be in St. Damian's Catholic cemetery."
