WALKERTON - Kent Noel Adkins, 55, of St. Albans, WVa, formerly of Walkerton, passed away January 25, 2012, in his home in West Virginia. Kent was born December 20, 1956, in Charleston, WVa, to John and Ester (Brogan) Adkins. On October 17, 2006, in West Virginia, he was married to Linda Pauley, who preceded him in death on November 1, 2011. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Krulik of Bremen and Laura Adkins of Knox; two brothers, Jim Adkins of Tennessee and Joe Adkins of Teegarden; three sisters, Donna Erdelyi of Walkerton, Linda Adkins of South Bend and Loretta Smith of Ohio; and six grandsons, Ryan, Landon, Anikkon and Korbyn Krulik, and Alex and Hadden Thurman. A memorial service will be Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) at the Walkerton United Pentecostal Church, with Pastor Arnold Smith officiating. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family at the church one hour prior to the service. Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, is handling arrangements.
