Mrs. Evalyn Abshear Lynch died Nov. 2 at Azalealand Nursing Home.

She was a retired psychiatric social worker and held advanced degrees from the University of Texas, Chicago University and Pennsylvania State University. She was a native of Fort Worth, Texas, and lived in Savannah for 32 years.

SURVIVING: her guardian, Ruth Christiansen of Savannah.

A graveside service was held Nov. 6 in Bonaventure Cemetery.
