Mr.George E. Dale of Fitzgerald died Thursday, October 1, 1998, in Fitzgerald. He was 81.
Mr. Dale was born October 3, 1916, in Coffee County, the son of Elias and Laura Dale. He was a retired farmer and barber. He had been a barber for 45 years in Fitzgerald. Mr. Dale had lived in Ben Hill County most of his life. He attended the Fitzgerald Church of God.
Mr. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Dale.
Survivors include three sons, all of Fitzgerald; four grandchildren; seven grandchildren; one brother, Curtis Dale of Fitzgerald; five sisters: Christine, Irma, Sallie, Vermell and Frances all of Fitzgerald.
Services were held at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. Interment was held at Abba Cemetery in Ben Hill County.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
