MRS. A L. FREELAND.
Lakenan, Mo., April 25—Mrs. A. L. Freeland died at her home here Tuesday. She was born near Shelbyville January 22, 1853. She married Arthur Freeland October 31, 1872. They had been residents of Lakenan for nearly forty-six years. She is survived by her husband, Arthur L Freeland; a daughter, Mrs. Julia Byars, a teacher in Shelbina high school; two grandchildren, Freeland and Lynn Byars, and a brother, R. S. Holliday, of Kahoka. Funeral services were held in Shelbina Methodist church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by the Rev. L. C. Maggart, assisted by the Rev. W. P. Wynn. Burial was in Shelbina cemetery.
