A native of New York State, Mrs. Stickles was a resident of Newark since 1957 and formerly was a resident of Clyde. She was employed by Newark State School as an attendant.
Survivors include her husband, Edward K. Stickles of Clyde; one daughter, Mrs. May Moyer of Clyde; four sons, Edward Dean Stickles of Newport News, Va., Melvin Earl and Alvin Mearl Stickles of Clyde, and Paul Kenneth Stickles of Philadelphia, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Joans of Clyde, Mrs. Alice Mitchell of Clyde and Mrs. Florence Cortney of Olmsteadville, N. Y.; one brother, Albert Paul of Chestertown, N.Y.
