Son of Hugh Boggs, husband of Kizziah Miller Boggs, father to Hugh, Mary Ellen,Joseph A, James M, Rebecca, John M,Jr,Jane, Jacob 3 of his sons died between 1861-1865, two having been POWs of the Union having been captured at Gladeville,VA while serving with the CSA. He is buried somewhere on the ridge of the North& South Forks of the Pound River per family records.Note: The original death date of 1868 previously found online is inaccurate.
