Gaines L. Strouse Jr., age 83, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Mount Carmel E. Hospital. Born July 20, 1928 in Columbus to the late Gaines L. Sr. and Lurean Strouse. Army and Navy veteran during the Korean War Era. Also preceded in death by wife Nellie Strouse and daughter Trina Lewis. Survived by son, Gaines (Hiroko) Strouse III; grand-son, Austin Lewis; sister, Gretha Crabtree; great-grandchildren, Zach, Hannah, and Jordan; brothers and sisters-in-law.
