Mary F. Schweitzer age 99 of Plain passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Greenway Manor Nursing Home in Spring Green. She was born on March 17, 1912 in Plain the daughter of John and Katherine (Decker) Alt.
She was married on November 23, 1935 to Frank Schweitzer. Mary was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Plain, St. Luke's Quilting Club and the Loreto Homemakers Club.
Survivors include: 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 4 siblings, Alphonse Alt of Spring Green, Erna Crosby of Sauk City, Katherine Imberg of Sun Prairie, Don Alt of Nevada, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katherine Alt, her husband, Frank Schweitzer, 5 siblings, Hilda Lehner, Dorothy Roth, Edward, Andrew and John Alt.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Plain at 11:00 A.M.
