NAVASOTA - Services for Gladys Flynt Kaechele, 85, of Iola are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church in Keith.

Brother W.H. Richards of Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.

Mrs. Kaechele died Thursday in College Station.

She was born in the Peach Creek community of Brazos County and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alton Mitchell Flynt; a daughter, Mavis Stewart; and a son, Emory Flynt.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Kaechele Jr. of Navasota; a son and daughter-in-law, Truman and Ella Flynt of Iola; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Lynn Wood Lawson of Crockett; a stepson, Fred E. Kaechele of Navasota; a daughter-in-law, Diane Flynt of Houston; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wesley and Mary Frances Crenshaw and Mack and Peggy Crenshaw, all of Iola; a sister, Margie Morrell of Deer Park; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
