Margaret Simpson Blair was the daughter of Daniel and Jane Bailey. She was born in Warren, Washington, Ohio. She married Robert Blair, 26 Feb 1845 in Marrow, Washington, Ohio. Together their union brought them 8 children. Sadly Robert died in the Civil War. Robert was tending his Captain for several weeks prior to coming down with the same disorder. Although the hospital records indicate he got the disorder as a POW. His record definitely indicates otherwise. After Roberts death on 01 Jul 1866, Margaret would marry a close family friend Winfred Hubbard. Together that union brought three children. She was a hard working woman who understood the rough ways of that era. She suffered many hardships in life, but triumphed over all.
