OBITUARY
Everett, Dec 21 --Practically to the minute of the time when he was injured by being run down by an automobile one week ago tonight on the Boulevard near Main St, James W. Blair, aged 66, a veteran of the Civil War, who lived at 52 Wellington St, died at the Whidden Memorial Hospital tonight from the injuries. Mr. Blair had been in feeble health for some time. His injuries consisted of a broken leg, broken arm and a general nervous shock. He was a member of James A Perkins Post 15, G.A.R, enlisting before he was 17 years old when he received news that his father had been killed on the field of battle. The Automobile which struck Mr. Blair was owned and operated by Lorenzo C. Creamer of Walnut St, this city.
