Donald L. Hall, 78, of East Peoria passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at his home.

He was born July 15, 1933, in Shadyside, Ohio, to Melvin and Edna (Manning) Hall. They preceded him in death. He married W. Susan Lanum in 1958. She preceded him in death in 2006.

Surviving are four children, Kevin Hall of Florida, Stacy (Kevin) Roberts of Morton, Karen (Scott) Whitehurst of East Peoria and Stephanie (fiance, Troy Sams) Lewellen of East Peoria; and two brothers, Jim (Loni) Hall and Roger (Pat) Hall.

Donald worked as a systems analyst and pilot, retiring as vice president of Global Fire Equipment in Washington.

He served as a captain with the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He and his wife enjoyed square dancing and were members of the Wheeln Dealers. He was also a member of the Washington RC Flyers and loved to travel in his RV.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
