Mary Pamela Cloyd, 90, Silver Lake, IN died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012 in Mason Health & Rehab Center, Warsaw, IN.

She was born December 12, 1921 in Lafayette, IN to Frank & Hazel (Harrington) Bridge. On October 12, 1942 she married James Harold Cloyd. He died December 16, 1988.

She graduated in 1940 from Wea High School, Lafayette, IN. During WWII she was employed in Washington D.C. with the war effort. She was a homemaker and owned and operated The County Store Antique Shop in Sidney, IN for 20 years. She was an award winning artist and potter. For many years she and her husband, James, farmed in the Lafayette, Indiana area on the farm that has been in the Cloyd family since 1818. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by one son, Kevin (Kim) Cloyd, Silver Lake, IN; one daughter, Cheryl Cloyd, Fort Wayne, IN; one brother, Garrett (Carolyn) Bridge, Lafayette, IN; one sister-in-law, Beverly Bridge, Lafayette, IN; one grandchild, and three great grandchildren. One son, two grandsons, five brothers and three sisters are deceased.

Graveside services will be Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Wildcat Cemetery, Lafayette, IN. Pastor Rich McQuinn will officiate.
