Mary T. Williams, 97, IOOF Home, died Monday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. in the Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Williams was born Nov. 18, 1884, in Metamora, the daughter of Christian H. and Sophia Tracey Thorpe. She was married to Charles B. Williams II, and he preceded her in death June 12, 1957. She was a member of the Lois Chapter No. 147 OES, the DAR, the Senior Citizens and the Women's Circle of the First Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Edith Williams, Indianapolis; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three children: Ross Tracey Williams, Charles B. Williams and Marjorie Williams.

The services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Michael Thiel officiating, and with burial in the Metamora Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday. The family suggests that memorials be in the form of donations to the Greensburg First Christian Church.
