Columbus Conger

COLUMBUS CONGER, OLD RESIDENT, IS DEAD AT GREENBUSH

Greenbush - Columbus Conger, 62 years of age, one of the most respected citizens of the village, died at 9 o'clock this morning.  Mr. Conger had been an invalid for seven years and his death at this time was not unexpected by his family.

The deceased was born and reared in the town of Greenbush, son of a pioneer family.  For many years he operated his farm some miles out of the village.  Twelve years ago his failing health compelled his retirement and he came to make his home in the village.  Here he became well known and most highly respected.

Mr. Conger was twice married, the second time in 1900.  His second wife survives.  His surviving children are Lester Conger, principal of the Kohler high school; Miss Ethel of Milwaukee and Lyman of Kohler.  A brother and sister, E A Conger and Mrs. Anna Craig, both of Greenbush also remain to mourn his passing.
