W. E. Bullard, who has been at Grass Valley on emergency work as a pharmacist during the influenza epidemic, was called to Portland last week because of the sad accidental death of his brother, Harlie M. Bullard spruce production soldier who was killed on the eve of his demobilization by a landslide at Waldport. Mr. Bullard was a member of the 86th Spruce Brigade. He spent the summer here three years ago.
