ANNISTON - Funeral services for Mrs. Nadine Rhodes Curry, age 85, of Jacksonville, will be Friday, April 6, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Daryl Wood officiating. Interment will be at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening. Mrs. Curry passed away April 4, 2007, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Curry is survived by her daughters, Melanie Magruder and husband, Robert, of Fern Creek, Ky., Greta Deaver and deceased husband, Stan, of Jacksonville, Willa Stewart and husband Randall, of Fayetteville, Ga.; sisters, Louise Rhodes Clark and Julia Rhodes Fulmer; grandchildren, Robin Curvin, Tony Deaver, Amanda Terry, Carrie Haynes, April Stewart, Benjamin Stewart, Mariah Christy, Molly Hall and Toby Magruder; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randall Stewart, Robert Magruder, Scott Curvin, Tony Deaver, Benjamin Stewart, Toby Magruder and Daniel Curvin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Curry, Donald Curry, Lee Terry, Matt Haynes, Jerry Hall and Jerry Dews.
Mrs. Curry was a native of and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and was a member of Post Oak Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Ralph Curry; parents, Henry Grady and Willie Elsie Rhodes; brother, Wilborn Rhodes.
