Mrs. Agnes Ruth Thornton Conerly, 88-born in Polkville, MS and resident of Ridgeland, MS died Sunday, January 22, 2012.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Lakewood Funeral Home with the service following at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs Conerly formerly attended and was an active member of Braxton Methodist Church and D'Lo Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Conerly, her parents, Roscoe and Cora Lee Richardson Thornton and 4 brothers.
Mrs Conerly is survived by her children; Frances Ruth Lane (John),Howard Wesley Conerly, Bruce Edward Conerly, Doris Conerly Matthews (Buddy), Velma Lynne Conerly and Vernon Dale Conerly (Iris); one sister, Fannie Mae Earnhardt; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; numerous other relatives and friends.
