Edward I.E. Bowser, 67, of 1540 B ave. NE, painting contractor and Cedar Rapids resident for many years, died Thursday following a brief illness. He was born Feb. 13, 1891.
His brother, James Earl Bowser, died Feb. 9, and funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. J. L. (Ruby) Conway of Central City, and a brother, Hayword H. Bowser of Cedar Rapids.
Services: Beatty-Beurle's, time to be announced later. Burial: Cedar Memorial. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. Friday.
