Barbara Panek, 87, Plainfield, died at 3:12 p.m. Wednesday at Wautoma following a lengthy illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Plainfield. The Rev. Steckbauer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery. Mrs. Panek was born Aug. 10, 1891 at Chicago, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sykora. She married Joseph Panek, June 2, 1920, at Chicago,. He died Dec. 19, 1963. She lived in Plainfield since 1956. She had previously lived In Downers Grove, Ill. and Chicago. Mrs. Panek worked as a housewife. She is survived by one daugher, Mary Ann Aanensen, Plainfield, three grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister. Friends may call from 6 un-tll 9 p.m. Friday at GoultGasperic Funeral Home, Plainfield. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
