Charles Bauer, 71, Rail Worker Here, Is Taken by Death
Charles Bauer, 71, 327 4th Ave. SW, old time shop employee of the Great Northern Railroad, died here Sunday morning following several months of ill health. The body is at the O'Connor chapel. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Bauer was born in Austria. He had been employed by the Great Northern 33 years, the last 15 years in Great Falls.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Stella Bauer, five sons and six daughters. The children are Fred Bauer, John Bauer and Donald Bauer, all of Louisville, Ky.; Robert Bauer, Victoria, Tex.; Joseph Bauer, Huron, SD; Mrs. J.W. Harvey, Havre; Mrs. J.E. Stoker, Elgin, ND; Mrs. G.L. Sneli, Helena; Mrs. Gordon Ellis and Mrs. Felix J. Skovron, Great Falls and Charlotte Bauer, Seattle.
Also there are 16 grandchildren, eight brothers and three sisters.
