E. Danielson Of Armstrong Dies at Home
Emory [Emery Martin] Danielson, 78, retired Armstrong farmer, died last night at his home in Armstrong. He had been partially bedfast for the past two years.

Funeral arrangements have tentatively been set for Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Nazareth Lutheran church with the Rev. Harlan Blokhus officiating.

Mr. Danielson was born Dec. 8, 1876 at Marseilles, Ill., coming with his parents at the age of seven to Humboldt county where they farmed. Mr. Danielson then came to Kossuth county when he was 19 and worked on farms in that area.

In 1899 he was married to Bertha Gertz [Gehrtz] and Mr. and Mrs. Danielson farmed in the Armstrong area until the spring of 1938 when they retired and moved to twon.

Survivors include his widow and eight children including a daughter, Mrs. Harold Johnson of Estherville; and a son, Albert Danielson of Armstrong. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 28, 1955)
