ASHEBORO - Waldo Browning Durham, 73, of 333 Shamrock Road died Saturday at Randolph Hospital.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
A native of Greensboro, he was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Asheboro Kiwanis Club, where he recently received the George F. Hickson Fellowship Award, a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, where he served as chairman, and was president of the Durham Printing Co.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Mary Jo Phillips Durham; daughter, Mrs. Peggy Jo Durham Rhodes of Burlington; sons, David Browning Durham, Herbert Michael Durham, both of Asheboro; brother, Donald Walter Durham of Asheboro; five grandchildren.
