Alexander, 61 Sullivan Rd., Westminster, who died April 4
in the National Institute of Health, Bethesda, after an illness
of several months. He was born in Frederick County, a son
of the late Walter C. and Mary Debow Alexander. Surviving are
his wife, Mrs. Louise Bankert Alexander, a son, Robert, Sandymount;
a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis A. Singel, Taneytown, six
grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Zimmerman, Keymar,
and Mrs. Margaret Furry, near Union Bridge.
He was a member of the Sandymount Methodist Church and was a salesman
for the C. O. Fishpaw Co.
Services were held at the D.D. Hartzler Funeral Home. Rev.
Edwin A. Ankeny officiated. Burial was in Pipe Creek Cemetery.
