Margaret Albritton Williams, 85, was born in Farmerville, Louisiana, on January 31, 1937, and died October 21, 2022, in Farmerville.

She loved God, her family (especially the great grands) and her friends.

A long-time member of Crestview Baptist Church, she served most recently as WMU Director.
Through the years, she was always available to cook and serve and even teach a VBS class when needed.

Whether tending to the cows and chickens or weeding and planting in her flower beds, Margaret was often found outdoors.

She also liked to travel across the country on guided trips or just to Branson with her friends. She was most fond of trips taken with family.

Margaret worked for many years as a nurse, then lab technician at Norris Booth Clinic and later at Union General Hospital, both in Farmerville.

For most of that time, she was also driving a school bus for Union Parish.

She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 52 years, Earnest "Buddy" Williams, Jr.; son, Mark Earnest Williams; foster daughter, Bonni Beheler Finley; parents, Wilmer "Pete" Albritton and Reitha Tugwell Albritton Dean; three brothers, Max, Darwin "Dob" and Coy Lynn Albritton; and two sisters, Melba Fern and Celeste Albritton.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Ray) Hammons of Farmerville; grandchildren, Thomas (Kelly) Hammons of Farmerville and Haven (Kevin) Sibley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and three great grandchildren, Mason Hammons, Scarlet Sibley and Kathryn Hammons.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Crestview Baptist Church, Farmerville, with Bro. Wayne Whiteside and Bro. Andy Allred officiating.

Interment at Crestview Cemetery.
