Funeral Services Held For Minnie M. Ellison
Services for Minnie M. Ellison, 89, who died at the Golden Inn Nursing Home in Zearing Feb. 26, were held Feb. 29 at the Andrle-Creps Funeral Home in Eldora.
Rev. Dewey Lamprect conducted the services and burial was in the Berlin cemetery.
Mrs. Ellison was born Nov. 1, 1882, in Wright county, the daughter of George and Cynthia Johnson Shaner who lived near Clarion. She married Charles M. Ellison March 7, 1900. They farmed in the Eagle City area all their married life.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Josie) Trende of Iowa Falls, Mrs. Floyd (Anna) Elliott of Iowa Falls, and Mrs. Sam (Myrtle) Volk of Eldora; 11 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a sister Verna Klocow of Saint Peter, Minn. , and a brother Earl Shaner of Eagle City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and a grandson, Samuel Elliott, in World War II.
