AIKEN - Services for Arthur L. Coogler, 61, of 1401 Whiskey Road will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Aiken, with burial in Southlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, George Funeral Home, downtown, is in charge.
Mr. Coogler died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1993. Born in Decatur, Ga., he was a son of the late William and Beulah Hurley Coogler. He was a graduate of Clemson University and was a former employee of the Savannah River Plant. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Highland Park Country Club.
Surviving are his wife,, Vergie Koon Coogler, a son, Ronald Coogler, of Marietta, Ga; a daughter, Cathrine Jennings, of Beech Island; stepsons, Jim and Bill Padgett, both of Aiken; a brother, William Coogler, Jr., of Clemson; and six grandchildren.
