Ara Areen Taylor, 81, of 1732 Coonskin Drive, died Wednesday at home after a long illness.
He was a retired employee of duPont, was a member of the American Legion and was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Betty Carter and Mrs. Bobbi Rasile of Charleston.
Graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park with the Rev. William J. Oldham officiating.
Friends may call today from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Bartlett-Burdette Funeral Home.
