My Great-grandmother by Madison Cano Feb 21, 2011
My great grandma Ardythe was independent, elegant, courageous and classy. She set fashion trends and knew how to host the best Christmas parties. She was a loving grandmother and she lead the way for all the women in our family to follow in her footsteps, to be strong women with character. She washed my mouth out with soap when I needed a lesson or two and she encouraged me to pursue my dreams. We baked lemon cakes and admired her movie library. She believed in family, in perseverance and in love. I will miss her very much and I pray that she rests in peace, finally back in the arms of her love.
