William Joseph "Pete" Nickoles, 83, of Louisville, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 1987, at Carroll County General Hospital. Bom in Louisville, Carroll County, he was the son of the late Henry M. and Emma T. Heiser Nickoles. He was the husband of Alma E. Nickoles. He was a retired carpenter and a 45-year member of the Carpenter's Local #101. He was a veteran of the US. Navy. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters Vivian D. Boone of Louisville and Brenda M. Poole of Winfield; brother John W. Nickoles of Gamber; sister Leona Wilhelm of Upperco; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Burner Funeral Home, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd., Winfield, with the Rev. John 0. Price, pastor of Taylorsville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gamber. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
