WINDER - Carolyn McCurry Kirk Good, 92, died Friday, March 20, 2009.

Born in Clayton, she was the daughter of the late Icie Cannon and Arthur James McCurry. She was preceded in death by husbands Goode Kirk and Grady Edward Good; and daughter Celia Ann Kirk. Mrs. Good was a member of Winder First United Methodist Church and served as a member of the Myra Clark Women's Missionary Circle. She had a distinguished nursing career that began as a trainee at the Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta. Mrs. Good was an avid antique collector.

Survivors include nieces, Peggy Spears Frailey and Rebecca Payne Lovett; nephews, Daniel I. Spears, Jr., Clifford James McCurry and David Harley Payne; several grandnieces and grandnephews; stepdaughter, Joanne Good Daniels and step daughter-in-law, Mary Parker Good; step grandchildren Kea Good Pfifer, Karee Good Smith and Ken Good; step great-grandchildren Laura and Charlotte Tsivoglou, Mary Beth, Christopher and Parker Smith; and one great-great step granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, at 2 p.m. from Smith Memory Chapel, with the Rev. Bill McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour
