Mr. John was born in Tescott, Kans, Apr. 7, 1904. He was a graduate of Sterling college and was a barber here for 20 years until five years ago when he took employment with the Kaw Pipeline Co.
He was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors are his widow, Emma; two daughters, Mrs. Theron Kelly, Lyons, and Sue, of the home; two brothers and three sisters.
