Skaggs, John Paul, 98, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East. He was a retired press operator for Potlatch Corporation. Preceding him in death were his wife, Laura and a son, Paul Eugene Skaggs. Survivors include his children, Thelma Vincent, Ray Skaggs (Julie Schultz), and Paul Eugene Skaggs, Jr.; 5 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be held at 1:p.m. Friday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, with burial in Resthaven. Visitation will be from Noon to 8:p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus.
