Doris Franklin, 68, of Panama City Beach, Fla., died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006, in her home. She was born May 5, 1937, in Panama City and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a retired waitress and member of Westview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, four sisters and a son. She is survived by husband, Ray Franklin; three sons, Leo Franklin, Kenneth Robert Franklin and Kenneth Allan Franklin; seven daughters, Joyce Ann Tucker, Carol Husbands, Cheryl Corbin, Tammy Williams, Patty Wilke, Donna Skinner and Summer Parsons; 21 grandchildren; and 17 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Samuel Corbin officiating. Interment will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2005. Those desiring may make a contribution to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405, in memory of Doris Franklin.
