" William J. Jr. Cox, 83, husband of the late Delia P. Cox, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, in a Florence hospital after an illness.
Mr. Cox was born in Hemingway, a son of the late Elliot Jasper and Eliza Josephine Haselden Cox. He served in the United States Army and was the retired owner and operator of Jr. Cox Grocery. Mr. Cox was a member of Hannah™s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a former deacon.
Mr. Cox was preceded in death by a son, Roger (Ruby Franks) Cox.
