Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Trent Cordum was held Oct. 15, at the Hammon First Baptist Church. Mrs. Cordum died suddenly in the Midwest City Hospital, Midwest City, Oklahoma. Mrs. Cordum was born in the Coulter Community Oct. 20, 1903. She was the daughter of Dayton and Mollie Gilbreath. She married Clyde Trent Sept. 10, 1919 and he preceeded(sic) her in death in March 1961. She married Clark Cordum in June 1972. He survives her. Other survivors include 5 daughters, Mrs. Pauline Cates, Leedey, Mrs. Jean Motsenbocker and Mrs. June Page of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Alma Lee Hansen, Garden Grove, California; Mrs. Juanita Trout, Hammon; 2 sons, J.C. Trent, Woodward and Bobby Jo Trent, Piedmont; one step-son, Delbert Cordum, Oklahoma City and two step-daughters, Mrs. Yvonne Stookey, Bartlesville and Mrs. Deanna Gamble, Leedey; 3 half-brothers, Herman Sifford, Adrain Texas; Dayton Gilbreath, Eufaula and George Gilbreath, Oklahoma City and one sister, Mrs. Bess Bradley, Amarillo, Texas; 25 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
