Nellie A. Grobe Minter, 93, a resident of Aransas Pass, Texas, since 1927, passed away Thursday, May 6, 1999, at a local hospital. She was born March 5, 1906 in Fredericksburg, Texas. Miss Nellie owned and operated the Bayfront Package Store in Aransas Pass for many, many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Minter. She is survived by her nieces & nephews: Billy B. (Wanda Ramsey) Traweek of Corpus Christi, David Bosse of Massachusetts, Joe Massi of Colorado, Mary Jo Updegrove of Aransas Pass, Byrd Lee Minter of Louisiana, Avie Max Grobe of Houston, her brother-in-law: Harwood Gristy of San Saba, Texas, her sisters-in-law: Gladys Grobe of Rockport, Pauline Massi of Ingleside and her precious caregivers: Mary DeLeon, Margaret Jones, Amelia Burkhart. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 8, 1999 at 10:00 am at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. Interment will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
