Mr. Satterfield died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at his home in Ada. He was born June 12, 1920, in Atoka to Bert W. and Sarah Turner Satterfield.
He married Eunice Edith Cotton Dec. 26, 1956, in Reno, Nev. She died Dec. 19, 1994.
Mr. Satterfield attended Atoka Schools and served in the United States Army in the 635th Army Tank Battalion in the World War II. He worked for the Simpson Lumber Mill Company in Eureka, California for many years. He moved to Ada in 1995.
Survivors include a brother, Roland Satterfield, Holdenville; three sisters, Lena Roth, Pat McAnally and Connie Allen, all of Ada; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Claud Satterfield, and a sister, Dovie Rieger.
