AGED PIONEER DIES

PASSED AWAY TODAY AT HOME WEST OF TOWN

Mrs. Isaac Walker One of Henry Counties [sic] Pioneer Residents Dead.
Was Eighty Years of Age.

Mrs. Isaac Walker, one of Henry Counties [sic] most well known pioneer residents passed away at her home three and one half miles west of town this morning about 10 o’clock. Death was due to the infirmities of old age which had been creeping over her for the past few months.

Mrs. Walker was eighty years of age last May and is survived by her husband who will pass his 87th milestone this month. Had Mrs. Walker lived until October she and her husband would have celebrated their Sixty-third wedding anniversary, and together they have occupied their present farm for over fifty years.

The following children remain to mourn her death: Mr. Frank Walker, Mr. A. P. Walker, Mr. R. N. Walker of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. John Sheridan and Mrs. John Tyneff of Chicago and Mrs. Harry Goosman of Aurora.

The funeral arrangements have not been made yet but probably will be held Thursday.
