Edith Johnson, age 87 of St. Elizabeth, died May 28, 2004, at St. Marys Health Center. She was born in St. Elizabeth on January 11, 1917, a daughter of John H. and Bessie Bell (Clark) Wickham. On October 11, 1935, in Capps, she was married to Floyd A. Johnson, who survives. She was a member of Humphreys Creek Christian Church.
Other survivors include: one son, Dale Johnson of Osage City; two daughters, Carol Moser of St. Elizabeth and Eileen Wallace of Sedalia; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. A brother, four sisters, and a grandson preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 1, at the Johnson-Wickham Cemetery near St. Elizabeth. Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in St. Elizabeth.
