"Union City Native dies in Greenville.
James W. Noffsinger, 78, a veteran employee of the state highway department in Darke county, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday at his home at 216 Hall street, Greenville, after a four weeks' illness.

Noffsinger had lived in Greenville for the last 23 years, moving to Greenville from Rossburg, where he was a member of the M.E. Church. He was a native of Union City.

Surviving are a wife, Imogene; one son, Grover C. Noffsinger, of Alberta, Michigan, one brother, Dr. H. Noffsinger of 612 West Pearl street, and a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Puterbaugh, of Covington, Ohio.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock (EST) from the residence in Greenville."
