Steven R. Lindsley, 51, of Wolbach died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at his home.

Steve was born Jan. 9, 1961, in Torrance, Calif., to Richard and Marlene (Barr) Lindsley.

Survivors are: wife, Deanna of Wolbach; daughters and son-in-law, Melanie (Smith) and Alan Vanosdall of Greeley, Annamae Lindsley of Chadron and Jessica Lindsley of Wolbach; brothers and sister-in-law, Greg Lindsley and Gary and Michelle Lindsley, all of Wolbach; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry and Frank Bell of St. Paul, Deb and Bill Lyions of Wolbach, Pam and Dale Neel of Grand Island and Barb and Dan Watts of Anthony, KS.; grandchildren, Alexys, Gunnar and Nevaeh Vanosdall.

At the age of three, his family moved to Wolbach. Steve attended Wolbach Public Schools where he graduated in 1979.

He served in the U.S. Navy in the supply division.

He was united in marriage to Deanna Stoffel on Nov. 19, 1988, at the United Methodist Church in Wolbach. The couple lived in Wolbach, where he worked for Am Can for six years in the freezer warehouse. He then worked in the trucking industry, driving for several different companies, mostly doing over the road trucking.

Steve enjoyed deer hunting, the outdoors, working on cars, watching football and spending time with his family, especially his brothers.

Steve was baptized in the Methodist Faith.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Steve was preceded in death by: parents; niece, Madison Lindsley and nephew, Shawn Sack.

Inurnment was in the Hillside Cemetery, Wolbach Ne.
