MULLINS - John French Brown Jr., 34, died Friday in a Marion hospital.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Little Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Devotion Gardens, directed by Cox Collins Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born in Marion County, a son of John F. and Florence Smith Brown. He was a member of Mullins Freewill Baptist Church and was a farmer.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mrs. Lillie Mae Hardwick Brown of Mullins; his parents of Mullins; two sons, Kenneth Brown and Ronnie Brown of Mullins; two daughters, Kristy Brown and Sandy Brown of Mullins; seven sisters, Mrs. Elwin McCumber of Lake City, Mrs. Harold Fox, Mrs. Herbert Rogers, Mrs. Ethel Stroud and Mrs. William Jackson, all of Mullins, and Mrs. Cleo Coleman and Mrs. M. L. Joye of Marion.
