Eunice Ima Hudgens, 97, of Lovington, NM was born to W. E. and Alma Caudill on July 3, 1914 in Lovington, NM and went to meet her Heavenly Father on January 22, 2012.

She graduated from Lovington High School. Then she met and married the love of her life Dawson Hudgens on September 13, 1936. They were always "partners" in their lives and each other's best friend. Eunice was a wife, mother, and grandmother whose family was her life. She loved God first and above all. She was a seamstress for many years. A long-time member of the First Church of the Nazarene, she taught Sunday School for over 40 years. She still held Tuesday morning prayer meetings at her home. Eunice truly loved the Lord and lived each day as a testimony of His grace. She was a true prayer warrior.

Waiting in heaven for her were her husband of 62 years, Dawson Hudgens, her parents, and six brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory and carry on the faith are her children, Alma and Lonnie Wells of Lovington, NM, Arlen and Edna Hudgens of Liberty City, TX and Janette and Jimmy Frierson of Longview, TX. She leaves six grandchildren, Pam Adams (Don) of Ft. Worth, TX, Patricia Murphy (Sammy) of Lovington, NM, Michael Hudgens (Rikki) of Ft. Worth, TX, David Frierson (Destiny) of Longview, TX, Angela Krape (David) of Plano, TX, Andrea Sims (Billy) of Quitman, TX and eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
