Obituary in Winchester, Indiana newspaper dated December 15, 1937 records the following: "He died at a daughter's home in Connersville. Other survivors are 1 son, W.O. Hodson; 4 brothers, Wm. of Carlos, S.L. of Modoc, Levi of Modoc and Milton; a sister Mrs. Etta Chamness of Carlos, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren."
