HOISINGTON -- Ralph D. Brack, 73, Hoisington, died Friday, June 30, 2000, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis.

Mr. Brack was born Oct. 11, 1926, at rural Otis and was a longtime resident of Hoisington. He was a retired carpenter, mechanic and welder. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7428, Hoisington.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Denise Brack.

Survivors include his wife, Twilla of the home; a son, Dennis of Hoisington; three daughters, Reatha Bates and Terry Schneider, both of Hoisington, and LaVerna Hoover of Pierce City, Mo.; two brothers, Glenn of Hoisington and Delmar of Great Bend; a sister, Eunice Dreher of Great Bend; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, the Rev. Garry Dassow officiating. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery with military rites by Fort Riley Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to Hoisington Little League, in care of the funeral home, 415 N. Main, Hoisington 67544.

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today."
