Died Tuesday at her home, 55115 Highland Road. Native of Bordelonville, retired LSU housemother for Lambda Chi Alpha. Calling hours at Rabenhorst Funeral Home are from 8 a.m. until service time at Rabenhorst Chapel at 11 a.m. by Dr. James A. Young and the Rev. Gerald Chancellor. Services at the First Baptist Church in Bunkie at 3 p.m., Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Carl Hudson.

Pallbearers: Joseph Anzalone, Sonny Herzog, Sonny Devillier, W. A. Keller, J. A. Boatner and Eddie LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearers will be all members of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Burial in Pythian Cemetery in Bunkie.

Survived by a son, U. [sic W.] L. Brown Jr., Baton Rouge; a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Bauer, Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. J. L. Dudding, Bunkie; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was a member of University Baptist Church and Daughters of the American Revolution.
