Mrs. Martha S. Chenoweth died yesterday at the home of a son, Herbert W. Chenoweth, 3220 Westwood Avenue. She was 88 years old. When she was a child she and other school children sang patriotic airs at the dedication of Druid Hill Park. Mrs. Chenoweth, the widow of Oliver C. Chenoweth, was the daughter of the late Dr. Clay Morrison, who served with the Sixth Maryland, Calvary in the war between the States. The mother of nine children, four of whom are dead, she is survived by five sons, Arthur F., George M., Oscar B., Leo M. and Herbert W. Chenoweth and three grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM tomorrow at the home of her nephew, Paul E. Chenoweth, 3617 Chestnut Avenue. Burial will be in Lorraine Cemetery
