Mrs. Abbott Dies, Red Cross Worker
Mrs. Helen L. Abbott. 55, of 300 W. Fairview av., died at 3 a., m Tuesday at College Hill hospital after an extended illness.
She was a member of the Second Lutheran church of Springfield,
Mrs, Abbott was active in the Red Cross for the past 12 years She was administrative vice chair man for service groups in Dayton and was active in coordinating chapter-wide Grey Lady services and Red Cross services at the State hospital. .
Surviving are her husband, Louis 11; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Randolph of Dayton, and two grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p. m. Thursday at the Marker funeral home, 1706 N. Main st., by Dr. Harvey Hahn. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p. m. Wednesday.
The family has said that contributions may be made to the American Cancer society.
